Even though the Little Miami Academic Team again captured the Southwest Ohio Conference Championship this year, the team still has mountains yet to climb.

The Panthers will be competing in the regional playoffs in April (their 10th straight appearance) and will be looking to improve on their sixth place finish overall in the state.

Head Coach Ron Maupin and his team were unstoppable this year, putting together a perfect 14-0 season. The team ran a 26-match winning streak and swept perennial Cincinnati powerhouse Walnut Hills in the final match of the season.

Senior Tejas Dinesh was named SWOC Player of the Year and also earned first team, all-conference honors.

Junior Thomas Sweeney was named second team, all-conference and senior Jacob Anderson was all-conference honorable mention.

“Thanks so much to all of the students, parents, teachers, administrators and community members that have helped us in our path to success!” Maupin said.
